Where are we based?
The sessions take place in St Michael’s School swimming pool in Colehill, Wimborne. The pool is equipped with modern changing facilities. We encourage parents to use the viewing gallery where you are still able to watch your little swimmers.

What makes us different?
Our classes are small with a maximum of 6 pupils. The pupils progress at their own pace and so develop a confident and happy attitude to swimming. There is always a responsible adult or lifeguard supervising the lessons so safety is ensured at all times.
Our Teachers and Helpers
Our teachers are all qualified either through Swim England or the Swimming Teachers Association.
They regularly upgrade their training by attending and completing professional workshops. All teachers and helpers above the age of 16 have enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) checks completed for them. We repeat these checks every 3 years.
Our teachers also complete courses on safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Our helpers have typically learned to swim with us and have stayed on to help younger children on their aquatic journeys.
They work closely with the teachers building up a great rapport with our pupils.
Our swimming school has met the stringent requirements set by the following.
